Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Lightforge Creative ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you play our games on any platform (including Google Play and Steam), use our player account portal at account.lightforgecreative.com or visit our website. It applies to every game published by Lightforge Creative unless a game shows its own policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Email address, username and password when you create a player account. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes by our authentication provider.
- Messages you send us, such as support requests or contact forms.
Information collected automatically
- A random installation or device identifier, used to create a guest profile so your progress is kept without an account.
- Platform account identifiers when you sign in with them, such as your Steam ID or Google Play Games player ID.
- Game data: progress, cloud saves, settings, redeemed codes, referrals and rewards.
- Technical data: IP address, device model, operating system, game version and error or crash reports, used to run, secure and fix the games.
Third-party services inside our games
Some games may use services from platforms or partners, such as Google Play services, Steam, in-app purchases, advertising or analytics. These providers may collect information such as device identifiers or advertising ID under their own privacy policies. The services each game uses are described in its store listing (for Google Play, in the "Data safety" section). In-app purchases are processed by the store (Google or Valve); we never receive your payment card details.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Some of our mobile games, such as Prism Pulse, show ads through Google AdMob, often only when you choose to watch one (for example, to get an in-game reward). To show and measure ads, the AdMob software included in the game collects and sends to Google:
- your device's advertising ID and other device identifiers;
- approximate location, inferred from your IP address (we do not use GPS);
- device and app information (model, operating system, language, game version), your interactions with ads, and crash and diagnostic logs.
Google uses this data to serve ads, measure results and prevent fraud, as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. We only receive aggregated reports, not your individual data. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the game asks for your consent before personalized ads and lets you change that choice in its options. On any Android device you can reset or delete your advertising ID and turn off ad personalization in your device settings (Google > Ads, or Privacy > Ads).
2. How we use information
- To provide the games and their online features (accounts, cloud save, codes, referrals).
- To keep accounts secure and prevent fraud, cheating and abuse.
- To fix bugs, improve performance and understand how features are used.
- To answer support requests and send messages related to your account.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Legal basis
Where data protection laws such as the Brazilian LGPD or the European GDPR apply, we process your data to perform our agreement with you (providing the game), based on our legitimate interests (security, fixing and improving the games), to comply with the law, or with your consent when required. You can withdraw consent at any time.
4. Sharing
We share information only with:
- Service providers that run our infrastructure on our behalf, such as hosting, database, authentication and security providers (for example Vercel, Supabase and Upstash).
- Platforms you choose to connect, such as Google and Valve (Steam).
- Google (AdMob), in games that show ads, as described in section 1.
- Authorities, when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of players and of Lightforge Creative.
These providers may store data outside your country. When that happens, we rely on providers that offer adequate safeguards for international transfers.
5. Data retention
We keep your data while your account or guest profile is active and as long as needed for the purposes above. Security and audit logs are kept for a limited period. When you ask us to delete your data, we delete it or make it anonymous, except where the law requires us to keep it.
6. Your rights and data deletion
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to delete your account. Send an email to lightforgecreative@gmail.com with the subject "Data request", the name of the game and your account email or player ID. We reply within 30 days. Data stored only on your device is removed when you uninstall the game.
7. Children
Our games are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls and hashed passwords to protect your data. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the authorities when the law requires it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. If the changes are significant, we will let you know in the game or by email.
